Visit Corfu Town
Visit the Corfu Old Town which is a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 2007, with its unique architecture and a plethora of Venetian and Anglo-French elements. Walk through the narrow streets, steep stairways, and secretive little squares, churches, and monuments and meet with local people. In the commercial centre of the city you will enjoy shopping at the tens of available shops. Don’t forget to taste Corfu’s traditional products, food and local award-winning beer or wine or the local refreshment “tsitsimbira”.
Admire Saint Spyridon church which is the St. Patron of the island, with its impressive bell tower modeled on the church of San Giorgio dei Greci (Saint George the Greek) in Venice.
